Diane's Homesteading & Business Background

My experience doesn’t come from theory—it comes from real living and building a life, family & homestead with my amazing life partner, Brad.

Together we raised three incredible boys to men.

We've had a horse breeding program, sold cattle, built a USDA certified organic meat facility on our land, and created products like bison jerky and meat snacks from concept to cashflow.

I’ve designed and sold handmade goods through my home studio, and built an online and in-person business selling everything from leather goods to Log Homes & mountain décor.

My kids & I started and scaled a worm business, selling nationwide.  As a family, we've harvested and sold firewood and natural resources from our land, and even built a motorcycle repair and transport business that operated from a shop built on site.

I’ve created income through eBay reselling, affiliate partnerships, and growing and selling plants, flowers, honey, and vegetables—both locally and online. We’ve also leased space on our homestead, bartered goods and labor, and found creative ways to turn everyday life into opportunity.

One of my most meaningful ventures, Montana Country Pines, has evolved over the years—from a home-based online business to a storefront, and now into a private Airbnb-style destination that continues to generate seasonal income from the west side of our own land.

Through it all, I’ve built a six-figure business in the direct sales industry in the background right from my home office and helped 100's of others do the same.

Everything I teach comes from real experience—building, pivoting, and creating income in ways that support both family and freedom.

Welcome To Our Piece Of Montana

This log home is truly the heart of our homestead. It was built by our family, with our own hands, and it’s been more than just a place to live—it’s been the foundation for so much of what we’ve created.

For years, we used our home as a way to share and promote our log home business, welcoming others in and showing what was possible. Today, it continues to serve as our home base and where my home office lives—the place where ideas turn into action and businesses are built right from home.

Diane's Greenhouse's

Our custom greenhouse plays a big role in what we do here at Montana Country Homesteading. It gives us the ability to grow healthy food, extend our season, and create opportunities for income right from our homestead. It’s a perfect example of how something you build for your home can also become something that provides.

This is the original raised bed garden we started with.  After the deer ate EVERYTHING we covered it with sheep panels and greenhouse plastic - added a wall and door on one end and a potting shed on the other.

It has now become the berry house as the raspberries, blackberries and grapevines have now taken over both outer walls.

Let's Have a Sit On Our Front Porch

Some of my best ideas have come from sitting on my front porch staring at the beautiful Absarokee Beartooth Mountains. It’s where I slow down enough to think clearly, see things simply, and find solutions that actually work. That same kind of clarity is what I want for every woman I help—simple, steady, and right in front of you.

It's Time For Me To Share What Works

I know what it feels like to be at home, doing everything for your family… and still feel that pull for something more. Not because you’re ungrateful—but because you know you were meant to create, build, and contribute in a bigger way.

That’s exactly where I was.

From our homestead, I started finding ways to turn what we already had—our land, our skills, our everyday life—into real income. It didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t come from a perfect plan. It came from trying, learning, building, and figuring out what actually works in real life.

Over time, those small ideas turned into multiple income streams—selling products, building businesses, and reaching people far beyond our front porch. And through it all, I realized something… most women don’t need more ideas—they need someone who can show them how to take what they already have and turn it into something that works.

That’s why I do this.

I care deeply about helping women step into their next season with clarity and confidence—to build income from home without sacrificing what matters most. And if you’re feeling that nudge that there’s more for you too… you’re probably right.

If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start building something real, I’d love to walk alongside you and show you how.
